(Still catching up) Last month we were on our way to the zoo to meet Jenny and Jared, we passed the graveyard where my Grandpa Hansen is buried. We stopped to visit and I'm so glad we did. My kids loved hearing about my Grandpa and seeing where he is buried. I loved my Grandpa he was such an amazing man and positive role model in my life. He died when I 12 in a boating accident and I have missed him ever since. Even though I was young I have lots of memories of him and things that we did together! I know that he would be a wonderful grandpa to my children and love them very much! I wish Parker could have known him as well! After visiting the grave we headed on to Hogle zoo. We saw a new baby giraffe, snow leopard, monkey, and 3 baby tigers. We always love getting together with the Rassy's!

(it's taken me a long time to post this) About a month ago I was asleep waiting for either my alarm to go off or Jackson to wake me up and I herd a weird sound out my window. It sounded like a blow tourch! I got up and look outside to see this hot air balloon right outside our window heading to the park to land. I woke up my kids and we ran down to watch. The kids loved it!!! It was fun to see all the people they fit in the basket and theway they brought it down. Jackson and Chloe asked if they could have a ride :) It was a perfect way to start our morning!
My girls were still in their PJ's

On September 11th our darling Chloe turned 5! I can't believe how fast time flies. Parker and I were out of town for her actual birthday, but had a big celebration when we got home! McKenzie Guzzo was watching our kids and made sure to make it a special day for her. She made her pancakes with syrup AND whipped cream :) and put candles in them. I had left birthday bags for Chloe to take to school and pass out, she loved that! Grandma Kemp stopped by with presents for her to open, it made me feel good that she had lots of people helping to make her day special! When we got home we threw a party for her with homemade pizza and a barbie cake made by Aunt Chelsey! We had cake and presents and lots of fun! Happy be-lated Birthday Chloe, we love you!!!
Happy Birthday darling girl!

We love soccer at our house! I get so excited each time my kids get to play. I love going to their games and cheering them on, they do so great and are so fun to watch! They both had awesome seasons this year. Jackson improved tons, he was aggressive to the ball and had many shots and assists! He was also a great goalie. They won almost all of their games! Chloe was the main scorer on her team this year! There were many games where she would score 3-4 goals. She was also the fastest kid out there. Her team was darling and went through the season undefeated! The thing I loved most about going to games was watching my kids cheer for each other and be so excited for the great things that the other one was doing! Sometimes Jackson or Chloe would run to the sideline to get a "high five" from their sibling! We look forward to soccer in the spring :)
Chloe has no problem getting in their with the boys
and moving to take the ball!
Jackson has great speed and ball skills
Ella is coming up soon!
Jackson is the best big brother!!!
She's always silly

Go Ella! WOW!
Jackson loved to cheer and coach Chloe from the sides
A bitter sweet end. The season's over, but she got a medal!

Jackson started scouts about a month ago. His first time going it was a pack meeting where all the boys were getting badges and awards. Every day after that he would ask what he could do to get a badge or belt loop. We worked really hard and the next month at the next pack meeting Jackson got his Bob Cat!!! Parker held him upside down so the scout leader could pin on his bob cat award. The leader also let everyone know that Jackson was on fire with scouts, he also got to lead the scout pledge. We are so proud of him and excited as he continues on his scouting journey! Go Jacks!!!
Jackson was so excited for this part... hanging upside down
Jackson pinned a bob cat pin on me and gave me a big hug for helping him!
(I know I look awesome, I had just got done playing soccer)
