Last month Chloe learned to ride her bike with no training wheels! She just took off. She asks us to take her to the park every day so she can ride. We bought her a bigger bike that fit her better and she has loved it. Last Sunday we got together with my family to go on a bike ride together (we do this every Sunday that the weather is good) and she wanted to ride her bike instead of riding in the kid carrier. We started off through neighborhoods and up hills, Chloe was a little bit slower so we decided to take a shorter route. We went through Vintage neighborhood and there is a big hill that you ride down, we explained to Chloe that she needed to use her brakes, she told us she could do it and off she went. I was bringing up the rear but I could see what was going to happen, she was going too fast and instead of using her brakes she'd peddle forward. I kept thinking that she was going to get hit by a car down where the road connected with the main road, Parker tried to stop her but he had the carrier on the back of his bike with Ella in it. She headed straight for the curb and turned hard and almost pulled it out but not quite. She had a bloody nose and road rash on her face, tummy, and knee. I was just thankful that there wasn't a car involved. We started riding back with her in the carrier, but she couldn't do it. I sat with her while Parker and Jackson went to get the car. Parker was so worried about her that when he was pulling out he hit his Ducati and knocked it over. Luckily both Chloe and the bike will be OK.

The first day we stayed home relaxing and watching movies, the second
day Chloe was bouncing all around and constantly lifting her shirt to
show everyone her owie

Oh it is so hard watching your kids learn and get hurt in the process sometimes. She is a trooper getting right back on!
