Parker came home Monday night and told me that he had a surprise for me. He had me set the table and while I folded clothes he cooked and grilled. He had brought home frozen food from Magleby's and cooked crab legs, and octopus (he had bought at Smith's) and also had salad and oysters. It was so good. I tried the oysters and they were ok. The octopus I was brave enough to chew but not swallow! The salad was perfect and the crab was amazing! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better he broke out the Magleby's chocolate cake!!! Yum! It was such a special night and so out of the ordinary. I am so thankful that I have such a thoughtful and romantic (not to mention sexy!!!) husband. Thanks Parker!
Chef Parker put on quite the feast!
This was half the reason that I had a hard time eatting the octopus!
Boil baby!
The water turned purple
Here's to trying new things!

What a sweet guy! I'm impressed. Those pictures of the octopus were too much, though! When you talked about trying it, I was picturing it in a salad.....disguised, somehow.
Those pics were CRAZY. =D
You are one brave woman. I don't know if I would have been adventursome enough to even put a piece of octopus in my mouth.
Quite impressive! We all love Parker. The octopus, though... I don't know about that.
Wow that octopus was pretty much disgusting... Good for you for trying it! What a thoughtful husband you have. I love it when they surprise you out of the blue like that!
I too am a little disgusted by the octopus but hey, to each his own. I'm glad you guys had a fun night!!

You had be with the first photo of crab legs... but the octopus... I think my stomach flipped when I saw the photos. I'm not sure how you even managed to eat it... but I guess love makes you do crazy things :o)
Must say that you are a much loved wife with a great husband who goes to all that work to have a special night with you. Please have Parker talk to kent about this thing called romance.

Wow! That's so awesome! What a nice surpice.
I'm back from Hawaii and ready to hang out with girls! Paula told me that you also have a Zoo pass. We should go!
That's so sweet. I wouldn't have even put the octopus in my mouth to taste it, but you're clearly braver than I am. you married a real romantic. you two are perfect together.
Wow! What a dinner. You would think you are living on some island with all that great sea food! I can't do octopus though... and I haven't even tried crab legs. What a wonderful husband!
Sounds like you have everything in the sea for dinner! Parker must really go all out when he wants to do something. Good for him!
holy crap! I couln't even cook it if I wanted too! You are so brave for trying it. I am so not a big sea food eater. WOW. Your hubby was nice though to suprise you with dinner. I hope he got points for that. Cory needs lessons from him!!
